Hotels and hotel chains in Finland

In Finland most hotels are of a high standard with all mod cons, are spotlessly clean and efficiently run, and where service is usually very good. Most, if not all, Finnish hotels have saunas, which can be booked for private use although a shared sauna session is usually included in the rate, and most have a swimming pool. Most hotel suites have their own private sauna.

Hotel rates always include an ample breakfast, and their restaurants are often the most popular in town and open until late, their nightclubs also are also among the best in the town they’re located in. Visitors can get lower rates from late June to the end of August, when most Finns are relaxing in their summer cottages, and also at the weekends. Most hotels also have rooms for people who have allergies, without carpets and with minimal fabric.

There are a number of large hotel chains operating in Finland. The largest and most widespread of these are Scandic, Cumulus, Sokos, Crowne Plaza, Best Western, Radisson, Ramada and Holiday Inns, and Finlandia Hotels.
