Hostels in Finland

For those travelling alone, hostels offer the best value for a roof over your head, and can also be excellent value for two people sharing a twin room. Finnish hostels are always clean, comfortable and well equipped. From June to August many student residences are converted into summer hotels and hostels, and are great value as you get your own room with a kitchen and bathroom.

There are nearly 50 hostels managed by Hostelling International Finland, including youth hostels, family hostels, Finnhostels and summer hotels. Members of HI can save money in these affiliates, although you can stay even without a HI card, and there are no age restrictions.
