Camping in Finland
Finnish camping sites are invariably situated in naturally charming surroundings, always by either a river, a lake or the sea, and offer three types of accommodation: pitches and parks for tents and caravans, simple cabins, and larger cottages. They usually have a kitchen area, a sauna, toilets and showers, a children’s playground, a laundry, a café, minigolf (something of a Finnish obsession), and offer boat and bicycle rentals.
