The city of Lahti is blessed with some of Finland’s most unique museums, such as the Lahti Museum family consists of the Lahti Historical Museum, the Ski Museum, Radio and TV Museum Mastola and the Lahti Museum of Visual Arts Malva. The new Lahti Museum of Visual Arts Malva in an old brewery Malski in the city centre is full of art, design, posters and culture. Lahti also boasts one of the largest theatre company in Finland, and the country’s most famous orchestra, the Lahti Symphony Orchestra, celebrated for its recordings of the composer Jean Sibelius.
