The Knights’ Park

The Knights’ Park in Askainen, founded in honour of the Knights of the Mannerheim Cross and all the Finnish veterans, is a unique distinction to the Knights and the whole generation of war veterans. The park was solemnly inaugurated for the 140th anniversary of Marshal C.G. E. Mannerheim in the summer of the 90th anniversary of Finnish independence, on Saturday June 2nd 2007.
