Rovaniemi Theatre

The speciality of the Lappia House building is the mildly rounded mountain top motive of the roof. It is characteristic of Alvar Aalto’s aim to soften the forms of the buildings and to adjust them into the environment. Lappia House is the home scene of the Rovaniemi Theatre – the Regional Theatre of Lapland.

There also operate both the Lapland Music School and the Finnish Broadcasting Company’s station in Lapland. The Chamber Orchestra of Lapland has its rehearsal premises in the Lappia House
