Kolmen Koukun cabins are atmospheric, spacious cabins in the centre of Saariselkä. The cottages have everything you need for a comfortable stay, and that is at the heart of the company’s services. We offer customers easy and hassle-free accommodation in a central location. In private cabins, you can take a sauna, relax in your own room, cook in the kitchen, watch TV, enjoy the glow of the fireplace… even a laundry service is available. In addition, the cabins have a ski maintenance room as well as skis and ski shoes, which are freely available to customers.
The Tunturipöllö and Kelo cabins have accommodated numerous celebrities over the years and currently serve as high-quality accommodation for families and work groups. The Tunturipöllö cabin has more than 300 square metres for a larger group, there is enough space to enjoy your own peace. The history of the cabin is colourful, you can guess the previous owners when you see the TV in the sauna and the owl theme in the cabin.
There are 240 square metres in the Kelo cabin, the atmosphere is Scandinavian and cosy, and all rooms are located on one floor. The sauna benches are so wide that you can even do yoga there. For remote workers, the cottage also has a separate study room, which can be accessed from the outside with a separate door.
Reindeer enjoy themselves especially well in the cottages’ yards, when staying at Kolmen Koukun cottages you can often admire the reindeers’ feeding time, especially in the summer.

Saariselkä – Northern Lapland
Saariselkä is located in Northern Lapland in FInland. Kolmen Koukun cottages can be found In the middle of Saariselkä village, along Nelostie E75, so you can easily get there by car. For those arriving by plane, there is a bus shuttle from Ivalo airport to the village (distance about 30 km), depending on the cabin, it is about a 5-minute walk from the airport bus stop and you are there! Ski buses and taxis also operate in the area. The city centre area itself is compact and you don’t need a car to get around there.
Finland’s second largest national park, Urho Kekkonen National Park, starts right beside the centre of Saariselkä, so Lapland’s authentic nature and indescribable peace are easily accessible. From the cabins, you can walk to the starting point of the hiking trails, and you can easily return from a day’s hike to sleep comfortably in the warmth of the cabin without a car. You can also get to the ski slopes just as easily, many people put on their skis right in the yard of the cottage.
