Finlandia Hall – Helsinki’s Cultural and Architectural Gem

Visit the Renewed Finlandia Hall

Finlandia Hall, one of Helsinki’s most iconic buildings, has reopened after an extensive renovation. Designed by world-renowned architect Alvar Aalto, the building now offers much more than world-class concert and conference facilities. Located by Töölönlahti Bay in the heart of the city, the renewed Finlandia Hall invites visitors to enjoy Finnish architecture, culture, design, and cuisine all under one roof.

For the first time, the building’s northern wing is open to the public, offering direct access to the park and waterfront. Inside, visitors will find stylish new spaces including Finlandia Cafe&Wine, a relaxed spot for seasonal lunches and drinks, and Finlandia Bistro, an à la carte restaurant combining Finnish ingredients with Mediterranean flair. The Finlandia Shop features timeless Aalto designs and products from small Finnish brands—perfect for souvenirs or gifts.

Looking for a truly unique stay? Finlandia Homes offers two beautifully restored apartments inside the building, complete with original Aalto furnishings and Helsinki Art Museum pieces—ideal for travelers who love design and authenticity.

Next door, Little Finlandia, a wooden pavilion by the water, continues to host exhibitions, events, and one of Helsinki’s most scenic cafés with a summer terrace.

The new FINLANDIA EXHIBITION (open from June 2025) will offer an immersive journey into the creative legacy of Alvar, Aino, and Elissa Aalto, as well as the story of Finlandia Hall and Finland’s modern identity. The exhibition is open daily and fully accessible.

Whether you’re stopping by for coffee, a cultural event, or a full design experience, the new Finlandia Hall is a vibrant part of Helsinki’s city life—welcoming locals and visitors alike.
