Northern Lights Hotel Ilveslinna

Lapland Northern Lights Hotel Ilveslinna is the ideal spot for discovering the Finnish nature, wildlife and the Northern Lights in Ranua, just an hour’s drive from the city centre of Rovaniemi. During the season from September to March we offer our guests free northern light tours every night.

The nature in Ranua is especially rich in its wildlife and we organise many activities and safaris to make sure you can experience it through trekking, hunting, fishing or cross-country skiing for example. Together with our experienced guides, a careful wanderer may have the possibility to catch a glimpse of reindeers and elks, a lynx, a wolverine or even a bear. All of these can also be found in the Ranua Zoo and Wildlife Park 2,5 km away.
