Muuruvesi Church

The granite church was designed by Josef Stenbäck and it was built in 1901-1904. There is 1200 seats in the church. The shape of the church is cruciform and the style represents National Romanticism, which is indicated by an asymmetric center axis of the side placed in the tower, and large round windows. The organ was manufactured by Kangasala organ factory in 1981. The altar is a crucifix. The church bells are from the year 1903.
