Magical Pond Igloo Village
Magical Pond is a quality igloo village where you can experience the atmosphere of silence, pure nature, and the Arctic night in peace under the shelter of a modern igloo. The architecturally impressive village offers a wonderful holistic experience, often crowned by the northern lights and the splendour of the Milky Way that appear in the Lapland sky.
In the magnificent igloos, you can enjoy unique experiences throughout the year. The nightless nights of summer, the fall colours and splendour of autumn, and the animals that may come to greet you outside your windows.
The simplified and Scandinavian igloo is inspired by the nature of Lapland and its earthy tones.
In your igloo you can enjoy the delicacies of the north and stay in a magical atmosphere with the phenomena of the northern sky, while admiring the nature outside. Each igloo has a minibar, coffee capsule machine, kettle and tableware. A microwave is available on request. The bathroom has a toilet, shower, hairdryer, shampoo / shower gel. The igloos also have a small wardrobe, curtains and reading lights.
You can combine husky and reindeer sleigh rides, tasting local food, and much more. An active day outdoors, tasty food and a peaceful magical night in our igloo will make your holiday perfect!
Our magical igloo village is located on Tahkolanrannantie, about 8 km from the village of Ruka. Our reception and bar serves our guests, as well as interested tourists. There is also a sauna in the main building, which can be booked at an additional cost. So come and enjoy the scenery and atmosphere, even with a drink or a sauna.
