Kuhmo Art Centre

Kuhmo House is the centre for culture and arts, and was opened on 15 July 1993. The building was designed by Matti Heikkinen, with advice from acoustics expert Alpo Halme.

Kuhmo Arts Centre has two halls. Lentua hall has 668 seats, and the lesser Pajakka hall which has 99 seats.

Kuhmo Arts Centre is also home to the internationally renowned Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival, and also serves as the Kuhmo Music Institute.
