Kouvola Railway Station

Kouvola Railway Station is an important intersection in Kouvola. It is located 130 km from Helsinki Railway Station, measured via Riihimäki. There is also a bus station connected to the train station, and together they form a travel center.

Kouvola is one of the busiest railway junctions in Finland. Trains depart from there in four directions: via the Lahti straight line to Helsinki, Kotka (Kotka line), via Mikkeli to Pieksämäki and Kuopio (Savo line) and Luumäki, from where the line branches through Lappeenranta to Joensuu (Karelia line) and via Vainikkala border station to Russia.
