Haukivuori Local History Museum

The exhibition of the Haukivuori Local History Museum has been arranged on two floors. Thematic exhibitions give a picture of the lives of the people of Haukivuori from over a century past. There are items from agriculture, from fishermen, blacksmiths, and carpenters on display in the museum. Upper floor contains a department that depicts school attendance. And also, they haven’t forgotten life’s little pleasures: there are items that depict coffee roasting and the cultivation of tobacco. The windmill built in 1905 is also on view on the museum’s yard.
