Central Ostrobothnia Conservatory

Central Ostrobothnia Conservatory of Music was founded in 1966, and has become the provincial music school in Kokkola. Conservatory of Music arranges a basic art curriculum with a comprehensive music education and vocational education:

* Music in early childhood where the child gain the skills to start music studies.
* Music in basic education in school-aged children, where they can learn music in a broad curriculum and the desire for professional training is encouraged.
* Music graduate (II level vocational qualification) to give the performance of basic vocational skills, and provides an excellent channel of music in higher professional education.

Studies can be directed either to classical music, pop music, jazz or folk music.
