Åland Hunting and Fishing Museum
The Åland hunting and Fishing museum is located in Eckerö next to the old fishing village in Käringsund. Each year the museum is visited by thousands of guests. Our collections include more than 2.000 items connected with hunting and fishing. Informative signs tell about the ingenuity of the natives when they did their best to make use of what the forest and sea once provided a long time ago.
The museum has a handicap friendly entrance, and it is possible to see and touch objects. There are toilets for visitors. Suitable for visits by school groups for educational purposes.
