South Coast Fishing Adventures
South Coast Fishing Adventures organizes guided fishing trips and coastal activities round the year on the Porvoo and Loviisa region. We provide tours with expertise and experience. Full day trips are tailored according customer needs. In most cases we include a picknic on the island with coffee made on open fire. Short 2-3 hour evening trips are available at our home port at Rönnäs on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Our main boat is 6.5m Trophy which is fully loaded with fishing equipment. It has electrical bow mounted motor with IPilot steering system and high quality Furuno fish finder. While trolling in the deep waters we add two electrical downriggers to get the baits down to the right depths. Trophy is inspected and certified for open sea by the Finnish Maritime Administration. All our guides are certified proguides with the years of experience Guides also have charter license to operate charter boat and tourist safety license.
The most popular is spin casting in the inner archipelago. Pike and perch, sometimes also zander are most common catches. Zander is the most common catch while trolling in the inner archipelago. Sometimes also perch and pike are taking the presented lures. Trolling in the outer archipelago and open sea may create some serious fishing experience. Possible catches are big sea trout and salmon.
We also organize boat trips to archipelago. During those trips you can enjoy the magnificent archipelago nature and wild life. If the weather is calm and sunny we can make trip to locate seals or during the spring we can follow the birds going up north (Arctica).
We respect the nature and we try to avoid disturbance for the nature and local people. We carry all the trashes back to mainland to be recycled. We treat out catch with honorable manner and after having enough fish for food we release the extra ones carefully.
We also have sauna right next to sea with hot bathing barrels at Rönnäs where you also have possibility to enjoy your vacation in the high quality log villas.
