Juminkeko – Kalevala Information Center

Juminkeko is an information centre for the Kalevala and Karelian culture located in Kuhmo. It is the logical place to start exploring the local culture. Information is given in the form of multimedia shows, a comprehensive collection of Kalevala literature, as well as brochures in several different languages. The foundation operating the centre also organizes all types of events, especially ethno music concerts and lectures and gives information about cultural trips to old Viena Karelian Villages in Russia.
