Lahti Historical Museum
Lahti Historical Museum is the cultural history museum of the City of Lahti and the regional museum of Päijät-Häme. It was founded in 1924. The museum’s exhibitions are housed in the former main building of Lahti Manor, built in 1897. The building has served as a museum since 1968 and was designed by architect Hjalmar Åberg.
On the ground floor, the exhibition A Favourable Place presents the everyday history of Päijät-Häme from the post-Ice Age period to the present day. The second floor features temporary exhibitions.
