In Finland, the taxi industry is heavily regulated by the government, so you can be certain that they'll be comfortable, safe, and expensive. All taxis can be identified by the yellow 'TAKSI'  sign on the roof of the car or van, but visitors will find that it is next to impossible to hail a passing taxi - you will be able to get one at any of the many taxi ranks or by ordering by phone.
