Sandcastle Lappeenranta 2012 - ATTRACTION PARK

Finland's largest sandcastle in Lappeenranta is built for the ninth time. For the third year running it will be designed by children. This year's theme is "Wildman shore". As Wildman is an historical symbol of the city you can see in this year Sandcastle a piece of Lappeenranta's history. Miniature models designed by children will be displayed next to the Sandcastle. The castle has been built of some 3 million kilos of sand and there is more at the gigantic sand pit, so try your hand and craft your own piece of art!

The Fortress cape offers a lot of exciting activities for children. They can for example ride carousels or a little train, play floorball and explore the Playhouse Village.
