The nearest wilderness hut is only 5 kilometers away and other wilderness huts also aren’t too far away. The marked hiking trail Hertta-Pallas (56 kilometers) takes you over the tops of the fells and in the wintertime the cross-country skiing trails run on both sides of the fell row. Vuontispirtti is a holiday paradise for anyone wanting to take in the arctic nature, eat well and have a good, peaceful night’s sleep.
